‘Stop Iran from sending Afghans to Syria-Iraq wars’

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): A splinter Talibaninfo-icon faction, led by Mullahinfo-icon Rasoul, has asked the international community and Islamic countries to pressure Iran to stop sending Afghans to the wars in Syria and Iraq.

A statement from the Mullah Rasoul group slammed what it called “inhuman and un-Islamic acts of Iran and called on international community and Islamic worldinfo-icon to stop Iran from dispatching Afghans to other countries.

The group alleged Iran had established recruitment centres in various provinces of Afghanistaninfo-icon, sending Afghan children to their soil first and then to Syria and Iraq for the war.

According to the statement, many Afghans had been killed in the conflict -torn countries and their graves were not known to anyone. “This act of Iran is driven by hate.”

Hundreds of Afghan have been reportedly killed recently in Iraq and Syria sent by Iran. According to reports, the Iran government provides $500 per month salaries to the recruits besides other credits.

The Afghanistan government or Iran’s Embassy in Kabul has so far not commented on the issue.
